Elect Lady Valerie Green Penelton is a native of Dallas, Texas born tothe parents Oscar and Velma Manning. She is the third child of four
siblings. Lady Penelton was educated through the Dallas Independent
School District where she achieved her high school diploma from the
Business Management Center downtown Dallas, Texas. Elect Lady
Penelton was introduced to Christ in her late teenage years and accepted
Christ in her heart over the phone by her nephew Mr. Kevin Lynch.
After many challenges in her life, she as a young mother joined the Life
in Christ Family Church of Lancaster, Texas where she gained a great
deal of ministry experience. Not understanding the full call of ministry,
she began to seek God on a greater level to only discover more was
imparted within her vessel to name a few, minister of intercession,
gift of prophetic dreams, art of dance, singing and acting.
In the year of 2002 Lady Penelton joined the Lighthouse Church of God
in Christ Church under the leadership of Superintendent Michael O. Clerkley & Elect Lady Clara
Clerkley. She served on the praise team, choir, missionary board, intercessory prayer team, armor
bearer to the pastor & wife she remained in ministry there until she married her husband.

In 1988 Lady Penelton pursued a career in the cosmetology field which opened a life of creativity
leading to owning her own business “Styles By Val”. Lady Val became a protégé of the gifted and
talented salon owner Mrs. Becky Yvonne Wade Blackmon. Being mentored by the best, she has
the ability to operate in her field at any given time and pass the baton to others that need her
expertise.

Lady Val discovered that she had a creative side of design from hair to florals to event décor.
With the desire to see the world of events reach an innovative style she launched, ValNique
Enterprises which is comprised of, Strictly Flowers, D&V party rentals and Event Décor by Val
her motto for business is “decorating the world one event at a time”.

Elect Lady Penelton met the love of her life David Wayne Penelton in the 8th grade while
attending Oliver Wendell Holmes middle school. After embracing a closer relationship in the late
80’s they gave birth to a handsome son August 3, 1990, Mr. Devin Gordon Penelton. Electt Lady
Val married Mr. Penelton in 2009 with this union they now share 4 children, Dezerae, Devin,
Lacee (daughter in love), Destinee, CorNiah and the latest addition Mckenzie Joy Penelton.
On October 1, 2017 Elect Lady Penelton joined her husband Pastor David Wayne Penelton as
they founded and launched the New Hope Christian Fellowship Church where she became his
first member, co laborer and greatest supporter. Lady Valerie Penelton now serves beside her
husband in ministry as a servant leader and humbles herself for whatever God empowers her to do.
