Pastor David W. Penelton
David W. Penelton was born and reared in Dallas, Texas. He is the son of Mr. Oliver Penelton and Mother Emma McGlover Penelton-Hicks. He is the honored husband to Valerie Penelton and the proud father of Devin, Dezerae, and Destinee. Additionally, Pastor Penelton is overjoyed that God has blessed him with two beautiful granddaughters – Corniah and Mckenzie Joy
Prior to organizing and establishing, New Hope Christian Fellowship Church (NHCFCD), Pastor Penelton faithfully served at New Comforter Church of God in Christ for 42 years; for 26 years he passionately worked in the ministry – under the leadership and tutelage of the late Pastor Charles F. Lightner. Pastor Penelton was ordained an Elder in the Church Of God In Christ Inc., Texas Northeast First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction by the late Bishop J Neaul Haynes in June 2010.
His educational background includes studies at El Centro College with a focus in Management, Sociology, Psychology and Criminal Justice. Furthermore, Pastor Penelton attended and completed studies at N/Time Institute For Ministry – Saintsville Church Of God In Christ; during this time Pastor Penelton was ordained. Additional education studies include Southern Bible Institute and a graduate of Dallas Bible Theological Institute.
On October 1, 2017 Pastor Penelton and Elect Lady Valerie Penelton heeded to the voice of God and organized New Hope Christian Fellowship Church (NHCFCD).
